The defining characteristics of a Jobe Towable Inflatable are quality, safety, and affordability. Jobe have been building towable tubes for many years and each one is the result of a huge amount of ongoing design and development. Everything has been properly thought through and this is immediately obvious when you inspect one at close quarters. The heavy duty PVC bladders are tough and hard wearing and the nylon covers are superbly constructed and virtually bomb-proof. Soft neoprene is regularly used around contact points for the convenience and comfort of riders. High speed drain points, covered Boston Valves, and quick connectors are used extensively across the entire range.
All Jobe towable tube covers are made from heavy-duty nylon. The thickness of the nylon is specified in denier (D). A higher number means thicker, heavier, and stronger nylon. We use 420D for our 1 person tubes, 840D for our 2/3 and 4 person tubes, and 1680D for our commercially used Heavy Duty tubes. Most tubes use a combination of different deniers to make the best product imaginable: Light where it is possible and strong where it is needed.
All Jobe towable tube inners (bladders) are made from heavy duty PVC. The thickness of the PVC is specified in gauge (G). A higher number means thicker, heavier, and stronger PVC. We use 24G for our 1 person tubes, 28/30G for our 2/3 and 4 person tubes, and 34G for our commercially used rental tubes. Most of the tubes use a combination of different gauges to make the best product imaginable: Light where it is possible and strong where it is needed.
All Jobe towable inflatable tubes have 1 or more water drains. A water drain ensures a good water release from the inside of the nylon cover. The less water inside the cover, the lighter the tube will stay. A lighter tube means less stress on the materials, better performance on the water, and lower fuel consumption.
Jobe already supply a number of great Towable Tube Packages, but using the experience we have gained providing Towable Tube Rides to the public every summer we have created a number of our own Exclusive Towable Inflatable Packages. Each of our Towable Ringo Packages has been expertly specified and each contains everything you need for many great seasons of happy tubing.
